<br />
All fellow blondes know the eternal struggle of maintaining the perfect blonde tone. Give it a few weeks after having the hair dyed and the colour starts to transform into an almost golden orange shade. Of course, to prevent this you should use a purple shampoo regularly to cancel out any unwanted colours. Freshly bleached blonde hair is almost always going to look yellowy/orangey in shade. To achieve the desired blonde shade you want (be it platinum, silver, ashy, caramel etc.), your hairdresser must tone it to remove the yellow/orange shades. <br />
<br />
I'm quite an impatient and frugal person when it comes to my hair. Plus I am also one of those people who have said <i><b>"yaaa I really like it"</b></i> to the hairdresser after doing my hair and go home crying <i><b>"I look so ugly!! I HATE IT!"</b></i>. So I have very low expectations of hairdressers and their capability to make my hair look the way I want it. (I'm not saying all the hairdressers I've been to have left me disappointed, that is defiantly not the case. I've walked out of the salon with a smile on my face too :D) Thats when I decided to take matters into my own hands, at least that way when I fail I'm not too disappointed as I haven't spent too much money and I took the risk so thats what I get.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
So years of messing around with my hair have gone by and it is time for my hair's annual 'freshen-up'. I adore ashy blonde hair and thats the colour I always strive to achieve. So I decided to tone my hair myself with a professional toner. Previously I had been using Crazy Colour's Lavender hair dye as a toner. This worked as long as I washed it out of my hair after 10-15 minutes. Any longer and my hair would be a shade of purple. It was time to bin my ratchet habits and do it the right way.<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
So after hours or research online and on youtube I found the toner that was going to do the trick. That toner being, Wella's Colour Charm in T18 Lightest Ash Blonde. I toned my hair about 2 weeks ago now.<br />
<br />
I found youtube to be highly helpful in my quest for the right toner. It was so useful to see before and after videos of a person who used the product as it gave me and idea of what my hair would look like after it. It's important to mention that the end product will look different on everyone. If you have blue tinges in your blonde hair it might make your hair bluer etc.<br />
<br />
Wella T18 is a cool toned toner. So expect cool toned hair.<br />
<br />
Here's my video on the topic - Please excuse all the 'eeemms' and 'umms'! Such a horrible speech habit I didn't even realise I had until editing that video haha! More info bellow video with instructions.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<u><b>What you need:</b></u><br />
<br />
<i>20 Volume Developer</i><br />
<i>Wella Colour Charm T18 Toner</i><br />
<i>Mixing bowl</i><br />
<i>Measuring cup</i><br />
<i>Dye brush</i><br />
<br />
Use 1 part toner to 2 parts developer.<br />
<br />
For example: I used the whole bottle of toner and double the measurement of that in developer. Mix the two and apply to hair. Leave in your hair for no more than 30 minutes. Wash out! All the instructions are on the box too so be sure to read them!!<br />
<br />
Apply the mixture to wet hair. I left the toner in my hair for 20 minutes as it started to get very grey very fast. I was a bit paranoid!<br />
<br />
<br />
<u><b>What I would do next time:</b></u><br />
<br />
Firstly I would use half the measurement of the toner/developer mixture. The developer and toner mixture was too large so I had a bit of waste. I have long hair and I did not need to use the whole bottle of toner. Secondly I would leave the toner in my hair for the 30 minutes as it's even after fading already after 2 weeks so even if it was any bit grey it wouldn't last long until it was the ideal shade.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I'm delighted with how my hair turned out. I have used the Crazy Colour dye since the toning of my hair. I used it anytime I felt it was getting a bit golden in colour.<br />
<br />
<br />
If you have any questions on the topic feel free to ask :)<br />
<br />
Also, I really enjoyed making that video so if you enjoyed it also please let me know. I would be interested in implementing video footage into my blog posts!<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
The Liebster Award.<br />
<br />
I'm sure you've all seen it floating around the blogger-verse at some stage. Many of you, like myself, probably know very little about it. Leibster is a German word that means sweetheart, beloved,<br />
darling, valued, kind.. etc. How sweet?! The purpose of this award is to allow smaller blogs with less than 200 followers to grow in the blogging community. I have been nominated for this award ever so kindly by <a href="http://www.abieelucas.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #e69138;">Abiee Lucas</span></a>. Thank you Abiee!<br />
<br />
<br />
<u>The Rules</u><br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Once nominated, make a post thanking and linking your nominator's blog. </li>
<li>Include the Liebster Award's sticker in the post as well (you can copy it from above). </li>
<li>Nominate 10 other new bloggers that have 200 or less followers who you think are worthy of this award and include their links in your post. Also, make sure that you let them know they've been nominated by commenting on one of their posts. You can nominate the person who nominated you. </li>
<li>Answer the 10 questions asked to you by your nominator (these questions should be on their post). And make 10 questions of your own for your nominees to answer. </li>
<li>Finally, copy these rules onto your post.</li>
</ul>

<br /></div>
<div>
<u>Abiee's Questions</u></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
1. If you could dress in head to toe in one designer brand what would it be?<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Ohh this is tough! I don't wear much designer clothes. I usually stick to retail brands such as Zara, TopShop, H&M etc. In fact I don't think I own any high-fashion designer branded clothing. But if I was to choose one I'd go for <i>rag & bone. </i>I feel their style reflects my own. But if theres one thing I do know, my designer bag of choice would be a <i>Simone Camille </i>bag<i>.</i> </div>
<div>
<br />
2. What is your go-to make-up look?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My go-to look would have to be dewy skin (using L'Oreal's Lumi Magique Primer, Rimmels Wake Me Up foundation and The Collection's fair concealer) with a sun kissed glow paired with a burnt orange/red eyeshadow look on my crease (Inglot's eyeshadow in 605 & 511 HD Sculpting Powder) and winged eyeliner. I'm not one for lipstick, so I usually line my lips with a very similar colour to my own lips (Inglot's Soft Precision Liner in 63) and add some Carmex on top to keep them hydrated and glossy. </div>
<div>
<br />
3. How would you describe your style?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I would describe my style as indie-bohemian with some beachy hints haha. I like to wear black skinny jeans (sometimes with rips), baggy t-shirts with graphics/typography, jumpers.. But I do also like to wear well cut and designed items for example I adore a lot of Zara's clothing. The way they cut their clothing makes them almost look like their items are designer/high-fashion. They make basic t-shirts look stylish. </div>
<div>
<br />
4. Your top 3 favourite films?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So many films!! Off the top of my head - <i>Riding in Cars with Boys</i>, <i>Eat, Pray, Love </i>& <i>The Hunger Games. </i>I love Drew Barrymore. Actually I love all the female leads in those films haha!</div>
<div>
<br />
5. What animal would you be and why?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I would be a dolphin because it would be so great to be able to explore the ocean. I would be so majestic and I'd be able to jump out of the water if I got bored of looking at the ocean haha. Dolphins are loving mammals and build up relationships and have conversations just like humans do. So cute :O</div>
<div>
<br />
6. Are you a dog or a cat person?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Dog person! Proud owner of a 4 year old Labrador cross Collie called Lottie. Never had a cat. I'm sure they are lovely animals, but I find dogs so much cuter. They are such interesting creatures and their personalities are just the bomb-diggity. </div>
<div>
<br />
7. What are the best and worst things about blogging?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For me, the worst is keeping the rhythm going. Posting frequently to allow your readers to build up a relationship or trust with you. So they can expect a post from you and get excited for it. I find that really hard. But I guess that's just my style and I'm sure some people enjoy the unpredictable post. The best thing has to be connecting with so many awesome people. Meeting like minded individuals and reading their enjoyable content. </div>
<div>
<br />
8. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Nothing too embarrassing stands out, I like to think I keep it quite cool when something unexpected happens. My most recent embarrassing moment would probably be the <i>Mocha Spillage Incident of 2014. </i>I rocked up into college one fine Monday morning, with my hair nicely did and a nice comfy outfit on. Dying for my morning mocha (a tradition at this stage), I walked into the canteen to line up in the coffee shop queue. Got my mocha and as I walk out of the canteen I decide to take my first sip. The lid wasn't on properly so the mocha waterfall flowed all down my hair, top and jacket. My blonde hair was a shade of brown. No Joke. I ran to the bathroom leaving my mess on the floor and proceeded to wash my hair under the tap and dry it then under the hand dryer. I went back to clean up my embarrassing mess after fixing myself. My clothes were a chocolate brown shade for the day along with my matted hair. </div>
<div>
<br />
9. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'm an extrovert with introvert tendencies haha. I mean I enjoy my own company from time to time. Of course I love being with friends and going out having a good time too. But when I've had enough of people I like to have time to my self haha. A nice walk in the woods with my dog is fun. In saying that though, if my family are away and I've the house to myself it gets quite lonely after a day and I want everyone back haha! I like people there, but we don't have to talk. </div>
<div>
<br />
10. What is your biggest future goal?<br />
<br />
My biggest future goal from a young age was to design and build my own house. Architecturally and interior wise. But I would also really love to set up my own quirky cafe. A cafe with a twist (with another purpose to making coffee). I'm not sure yet but visually I've the interior design already visualised. I've made a <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/travelbibleblog/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #e69138;">Pinterest</span></a> board an all for my inspiration.<br />

Good morning world,<br />
<br />
And what a lovely bright summers morning (if I can even call it that at 12°C) it is here in Cork!<br />
<br />
<br />
I very rarely post at this time, but today I thought I'd be all organised and blogger-like. I've got the summer blues guys, and I'm yearning to be back in beautiful Hvar lounging on the rocky face of the Adriatic. You know, it's odd.. when one mentions they are travelling to Croatia on holidays many reply with, "Your going to Croatia? Sure whats there but only that pilgrimage place all the old ones go to!". 'Pilgrimage place' meaning Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is in fact a completely different country.<br />

<br />
Croatia, in many peoples mind, is a boring country with nothing significantly striking going for it somewhere in eastern Europe. But that is certainly not the case. Croatia has a tonne of history, stunning scenery, lovely people and impressive heritage sites. I understand that Croatia is not as popular as many other tourist/holidaying locations so it tends to get dusted under the carpet. I think the first time I <i>really</i> noticed Croatia was only about two years ago. Ok obviously I knew there was a country with said name and I knew where it was on the map, but I really didn't know much about it. All I remember is that slowly but surely more and more people were beginning to travel there and the word began to spread among us college folk that it was a stunning, young & hip location worth visiting.<br />
<br />
So last summer I decided that I would make Croatia a destination on my inter-railing adventure. We decided to make the 3rd last stop of our journey Pula (North of Croatia, Istria). When in Munich we met a guy in our hostel who recommended heading away from Pula and to a town called Rovinj a little further north of the city. So we trusted his advice and did so. You can read my post on Rovinj and the rest of my inter-railing antics <a href="http://thetravelbibleblog.blogspot.ie/search/label/Interrailing" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
A close friend of mine also decided to travel there with her boyfriend last summer whilst I did the Inter-railing adventure across Europe. She travelled Croatia for two weeks. So when I heard all about her amazing trip and saw all her photos, I <b>had</b> to go back!<br />
<br />
My best bud Robyn and I decided to go on this island hopping adventure together. Starting in Split, getting a catamaran to Hvar, visiting neighbouring islands and then getting another boat to Dubrovnik. All in a little under 14 days. And wasn't it one of the most amazing trips I've been on!<br />

<h3>
Split</h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Flying from different countries, I arrived in Split a day before Robyn as she couldn't get a flight from Greece the same day as I. So the first day and night by my self was very interesting. I stayed in a hostel named the Adriatic Hostel. It was such a lovely modern place full of young sociable adults. I shared my room with five other travellers. Two Kiwi girls, two Scottish lads and an Australia woman. My hostel was in such a great location, bang in the centre of the city right outside the old towns walls. I got an early night and woke early the next morning to head to the beach and explore. I left my bag in the hostel which I collected later on that day when heading to my new accommodation. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Split is a lovely city. What I adored most was the Riva (waterfront promenade with palm trees) and the old town. The streets of the old town were narrow and unspoiled with lovely little shops and restaurants dotted around. The beach was a bit of a disappointment but for a city beach you couldn't complain. When Robyn arrived that night we got ready super fast and went on a pub crawl. I highly recommend doing the Tower Pubcrawl if you visit Split. It was the best night of my entire trip! We made a load of friends who we ended up going for dinner with the next night once the immense hangovers faded (we were bed bound up until 6PM the next day). </div>

Hello reader,<br />
<br />
Yes I've been gone a while and I'm back. But I'm not going to bore you with excuses. Because to be honest, who really cares? I could name out hundreds of excuses but at the end of the day, who doesn't like to see a post appear on their feed from someone they haven't heard much from in a while?<br />

<br />
I wanted to post today because a friend sent me a link to a video of which I found very powerful (I did also get a laptop, which is probably a high enough factor in my decision to post). I think is important that I share this video with <span style="font-size: large;">YOU</span>. <br />
<br />
You know when you have those days when your hard on yourself? You don't have to be depressed and low, just you know.. out of inspiration? Maybe your thinking about life, your job, your relationships, your future... so forth. Your just being a little negative and impatient. And you just couldn't be bothered feeding yourself with positivity. Basically, you're being lazy and weak minded. But thats <span style="font-size: large;">a-OK</span>, because I found this video and it will feed you all the positive oats you could possibly need in your cereal.<br />
<br />
It's an old song, I believe it was in the charts in the late 90's but <b>DO NOT</b> quote me on that!<br />
<br />
I'd recommend watching this at the end of your day, in a quite room as you sit down to relax. Plug in your earphones and let the powerful words engulf you into a state of peace and happiness. Take time for you. And stop worrying about the future and how your life is going to pan out. Because its going to be perfect. Live in the now!<br />

<br />
<br />
With January speedily coming to a close and the return of college drawing near, I thought what better way to spend a Monday than reflecting on the music that touched my heart and tickled my eardrums this cold and quite month. But none the less a great month at that.<br />
<br />
I've found I listened to music a lot less this month then I generally would, on a usual working week (with college and my part time job) I would listen to music on my ipod Monday to Friday without a doubt during my college commute, in the shower, driving places etc. But this month I generally only listened to music when I was driving places. I'm one of those people who have to have music playing (up loud) when in the car, so I can sing along and enjoy my journey. It's probably one of the most enjoyable parts of driving for me. I cherish long solo journeys with my playlist blaring. It does sound pretty sad haha, driving by myself listening to music. But I love it!<br />
<br />
I'm also one of those people who doesn't download or buy cds. I used to be. But with apps like Spotify, I just don't see the point. I can add songs to my playlists and listen to them offline within 10 seconds. No more downloading a cds contents onto itunes or buying music from the itunes store. Don't get me wrong, it is sad that the whole CD and Vinyl era is pretty much impractical now. Nothing is solid or physical anymore, it's all in the cloud and saved online.<br />
<br />
So here are some of my favorites from the past month -<br />
<br />
<br />
ALBUM<br />
<br />
| | <i> Foster The People - Supermodel</i> | |<br />
<br />
I've loved FTP since the first time I heard <i>Pumped up Kicks. </i>I adore their sound, it's so original. I find it hard to explain their style (they are an indie pop group) but I feel like their music has a very 'beachy' feel. Their music reminds me of Australia, either I listened to them when I visited their or they just give off an Australia vibe. Regardless they are American, not Australian haha. I've had this album on shuffle over the past few weeks and I just can't get enough. Their songs on the album vary in sound, three of my favorite being the more upbeat tracks <i>Are You What You Want to Be, Best Friend </i>and <i>Ask Yourself. </i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i><br /></i>
SONGS<br />
<br />
| |<i> No Rest For The Wicked - Lykke Li</i> | |<br />
<br />
This song just gets me in the feels haha, beautifully written, composed and sang. I came across it when watching a gripping episode of 'Revenge'.<br />
<br />
| |<i> Elastic Heart - Sia </i>| |<br />
<br />
Another really powerful music video from Sia, featuring <i>Dance Mom's </i>star Maddie Ziegler and actor Shia LaBeouf. But the song it's self is brilliant, Sia has such a beautiful voice. Just like <i>Chandelier, Elastic Heart </i>will no doubt be a hit.<br />
<br />
| | <i>L.A.LOVE (la la) - Fergie</i> | |<br />
<br />
She's back, with a funky new track. A little rhyme for you there. I love this song, its a little quirky and fun.<br />
<br />
| | I Loved You - Blonde (ft. Melissa Steel) | |<br />
<br />
Out of dance songs, this has to be my current favorite. Its got a very summery vibe to it and reminds me of Greece and Crete for some reason. I feel pumped for summer and excited when I listen to it.<br />
<br />
<br />
BLAST FROM THE PAST<br />
<br />
| | <i>It's Not Over Yet - Klaxons</i> | |<br />
<br />
Stumbled back across this song in a spotify playlist and had to add it to my own. This track has such an addictive sound, I just love it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBVc6IbICdJP-edMHY4tTI-ORjlmhPDmcMeBc6M6RYdXSH0yH6er2jX7drCqIREY7Nn6umpHMB2mUGvP28jFPloBH4L0C-_epT19KbHpurTSwVVV-v58Nm2kBjBf6OBYrLcvSEQnhmJuC3/s1600/lottie+january+2015+kerry.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBVc6IbICdJP-edMHY4tTI-ORjlmhPDmcMeBc6M6RYdXSH0yH6er2jX7drCqIREY7Nn6umpHMB2mUGvP28jFPloBH4L0C-_epT19KbHpurTSwVVV-v58Nm2kBjBf6OBYrLcvSEQnhmJuC3/s1600/lottie+january+2015+kerry.jpg" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Lottie at the start of the month on walk down in Kerry</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
So that's pretty much all of the songs that I've been loving the most this month. Without a doubt I'll gather a few more before the end of January, but if I love them enough I'm sure they will make an appearance in next months playlist post.<br />
<br />
I'd love to hear what songs you're currently listening to, one can never have too much music!<br />
<br />
<br />
It's just gone midnight and I vowed I'd get an early night, so I best sign off, until next time,<br />

<br />
New year, new me.<br />
<br />
Ha nope, still the same me.<br />
<br />
I mean how can one become something new in an instant? Those of use who can conjure up the sentence 'New year, new me', we're certainly not just born yesterday. I'm nineteen, I've been here a while. And I know for a fact that when the big hand aligns with the small hand at twelve midnight on new years eve, no one can miraculously change into a new form of themselves. No one sheds a layer of skin to make way for their new appearance or automatically starts preaching more positively then they did before midnight. Its a working progress. You set goals and you work each day to get a little closer to your target. The phrase "New year, new me" is a supportive and positive expression used to help you reach your goals. It's not granting you a new life or a drastic change of personality on the first of January.<br />
<br />
I think that's why the phrase annoys so many people. It forms an unrealistic standard that obviously no body can reach. But one must read between the lines. "New year" can mean the year in a whole, the full twelve months as apposed to the first of January being the first day of the new year. Over those twelve months you will change as you experience new things. You can work over those twelve months to achieve what you wished to attain as the "New me".<br />
<br />
From a close friend I received a lovely little notebook, with the map of the world spanning the cover of it, for Christmas. She told me to use it as a little book for big ideas, and that I did. My first entry into it are my goals of 2015.<br />
<br />
// Be more sociable<br />
// Get a surfboard & get good :P<br />
// Do more exercise<br />
// Start my own mini business<br />
// Try new & exciting things<br />
// Travel with my best bud<br />
// Try harder in college<br />
// Be happy<br />
// Be a better blogger :)<br />

I'm happy I posted today, I'm working on my 'better blogger' goal because I've neglected this space for a few months and I have no excuse for doing so! I've had a months holiday after Christmas from college and I've been needing a creative outlet to burst some of my creativity into :) That's one thing I adore about blogging along with meeting other like minded bloggers out there!<br />

<br />
A few days ago I received a small little parcel in the letterbox. Do you ever get those moments where you fully believe you have psychic powers haha, because something you had a feeling would happen happened? Well I had a notion the M2AB Travelling Notebook would arrive that day, and boy was I right! Now I'm more a believer of the 'Law of Attraction' than 'psychic powers'. I think if you put a notion out there to the world, the world mirrors your thought, and just like that your thought becomes reality!<br />
<br />
You can read about the law of attraction all over the internet or in books. The Secret is one example of a book that discusses the power of the law of attraction. Its not witchy magic stuff, its just a law, you know like the law of physics!<br />

<br />
Anyway, that's just brain vomit! The purpose of this post is to talk about <a href="http://mumtoaandb.wordpress.com/"><span style="color: #b45f06;">Mum to A and B</span></a>'s travelling notebook, to which I recently received. Yaaay so excited :) Its my first time talking part in a crafty little post circle of sorts. I discovered the concept of a travelling notebook on Lauren's lovely blog <span style="color: #b45f06;"><a href="http://ohhayblogs.blogspot.co.uk/"><span style="color: #b45f06;">OhHay</span></a> </span>and messaged her to find out more.<span style="color: #b45f06;"> </span>I was super intrigued so when it came for the travelling notebook to be passed on to someone new, I had to take part.<br />
<br />
I received the notebook off Hannah at <a href="http://daintyandivory.blogspot.co.uk/"><span style="color: #b45f06;">Dainty and Ivory</span></a>, quite the person to follow after since she is very talented and creative!:) I discovered once I read through the book that every single person who received the notebook were also super crafty and creative, each page of the book has so much individuality and pizazz! I'm going to do my entry today.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Its such a lovely idea, being able to write and create a little entry about yourself whilst also being able to read about others and get a taster for their skills/hobbies etc.<br />
<br />
<b>For those of you interested in receiving it next let me know in the comments or write to me via twitter (the link is on the top right of my blog).</b><br />
<br />
This is a UK travelling notebook by the way :)<br />
<br />

Until next time,<br />

These days with social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram etc. at the forefront of our daily lives, its almost too easy for us to believe everything we read or see online. Of course on your online profile you are going hide the things you don't want people to know about you, and emphasis things to make yourself seem more interesting. But nobody really discuss the elephant in the room, bar Zilla when she staged a 42 day adventure across Asia, from her sofa.</div>

I think its pretty safe to say that you should always take what you see on social media with a pinch of salt. You don't have to be a professional to pull off something like this. As Zilla said herself:</div>

"We create an online ideal world which reality can no longer match up to,"<br />
<br />
<b>"Everybody knows that pictures of models are manipulated but we often overlook the fact that we manipulate reality in our own lives as well."</b><br />
<br />
"A picture is perhaps one of the most layered and contradictory objects that we can see around us.<br />
<br />
"It represents the reality, but also falsehood. It is a fact, but also an opinion. It is technology, but also an art form."<br />
<br />
<div class="author" style="-webkit-transform: none !important; border: 0px; padding: 0px; transform: none !important;">
"There is a constant battle going on between the two considerations: the photographed object being as beautiful as possible and it telling the truth" <br />
<br />
"What a picture really shows is not the exact situation as it really was, but what it represents. <br />
<br />
"This ambiguous relationship with reality makes photography so fascinating to me. It raises questions about the representative power of pictures and reality itself."</div>

I was instantly drawn to this story as my college course is very similar to hers. I work alot with photoshop and other such apps like it. Photoshop is so powerful, it gives everyone the tool to manipulate what's actually real. Infact I could have also said 'the internet' instead of 'photoshop' above, because it really does act as a barrier between the real world and the typed up & edited world. Zilla's project was so fascinating! It really did make me realise that - "we manipulate reality in our own lives as well."</div>

It's not unknown that I am a big fan of the surfing culture. I'm only a newbie I'll have you know, and if you've read my previous post on the topic, you'll know where I stand in the matter. <span style="color: #e69138;"><a href="http://thetravelbibleblog.blogspot.ie/2014/06/so-i-went-surfing.html"><span style="color: #e69138;">So I Went Surfing</span></a> </span><br />
<span style="color: #e69138;"><br /></span>
But two weeks ago one of my best mates and I took an ole' roadtrip up the west of the country, to county Clare. Whilst I'd been there before, I only managed to see a small portion of the eastern part of the county, the countryside. This time our sole focus was the coast, and with surfing a main priority of the adventure, Doolin was the ideal place for the craic, the site-seeing & the coast. Doolin is known for its traditional Irish music scene and in more recent years, Dusty the dolphin. We didn't manage to meet Dusty, but we did get a nice taster of the pub-life.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
We stayed in a lovely B&B only a minutes walk from the main crossroad-village. This B&B/roadtrip scene has become a sort of custom to the two of us. Only at the start of the summer had we gone on another venture down south to Kerry, staying in a B&B. We love it, the full Irish breakfast in the morning and the homeliness of it is just too ideal! It will defiantly become a ritual for whenever we get the tickle to travel our dear country haha.<br />
<br />

<span style="color: #e69138;"><br /></span>
So we decided to spend our first day surfing at Lahinch. Apparently we had picked the best day to go as the waves were to reach 8 - 11ft, according to many surf instructors we had phoned up the night before. The weather was to stay dry and there was not a wind blowing. All the surf instructors had cancelled all their lessons that day so they could go surfing themselves. Luckily we wern't looking for lessons, both equipped with a lesson each under our belts, we wanted to try it this time at our own accord. And that we did, we rented boards from one of the surf schools and set out on the water.<br />
<br />
It was so much fun, thankfully I had brought my gopro to record some videos while out on the water and take some pictures. As soppy as this sounds, I think I found my calling. Hahaa well my sport of choice. I dabbled in many sports as a child but none really stuck. And as a teen in secondary, I did none. Bar rowing from 1st year to 3rd year, but that didn't tickle my fancy for too long. But when I was out on the water, I couldn't stop myself from smiling. It was so fun. I even improved that day, stood up on the board almost every time I caught a wave. At the beginning, I did have a few fails, swallowing enough sea water to fill a bathtub. But as the hour went on I was doing great. I made a promise while out on the water, that as soon as I get back to college I am going to join the surfing society, and <i>actually</i> take part (unlike to last year)!<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
We visited The Cliffs of Moher that evening, hair sopping and sandy. Such a magnificent site to see. The next day we were to head on home, but we made a few pitstops on the way. We basically did a whole circle of the county seeing parts of the northern coast, the Burren and most excitingly - Father Ted's House. Following the route our trusty satnav directed us in, we found it after an hour. Of course we go those mandatory photos, who do you think we are??<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Funny story, as we got out of the car to take our picture, three dogs ran from the front door of the house down to us. We hopped into the car as fast as lightening, no photos taken. We were surrounded for about ten minutes, we even concluded that our pictures would have to be taken out of my sun roof. But luckily the dogs went away, and we got our legendary photos taken. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All in all, it was an epic adventure and I've discovered that maybe my dreams of being a surfer girl, could actually come true.</div>

You have a dig through your wardrobe and you find an item of clothing you haven't worn in yonks. You then carefully craft a masterpiece of an outfit around this one item, look in the mirror and you notice that smirk on your face, that smile of pure pride (Versace eat your heart out). Well that happened to me today! Ok its not a masterpiece by any means, but its a super comfy outfit, with a touch of boho chic. Whilst also being terribly laissez-faire. I felt like I was really expressing my style when I wore this outfit, and personally I think thats key in life! Just expressing your self in general, expressing yourself through your makeup, your hair, your clothing, your hobbies etc. I believe if you express yourself through your 'look', you will attract people of similar interests and beliefs as you. Also by expressing your opinions and your personality you will do the same. </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Your travelling to Ireland this year, or maybe your just back from visiting and your trying to figure out what that crazy old farmer with the woollen cap shouted at you as you walked through his field (probably trying to find that neolithic monument a local told you about on the hush hush)! If your visiting the emerald isle I highly recommend that you make your self known to a few of these sayings and phrases. Because if you fail to do so, you may just have a very hard time trying to understand us.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
IRISH FOLK READ HERE</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Your like myself, just your average Irish gal (/guy maybe in your case), who tends to speak in such rhythmic jargon from time to time, that leaves many foreigners clueless as to what you just said. But to <i>us </i>its just everyday language. I myself really enjoy reading articles on Irish sayings, my most adored being - <a href="http://irishmammies.ie/product/books/isnt-it-well-for-ye-signed-by-the-author-colm-oregan-2/">The Book of Irish Mammies by Colm O'Regan</a> and Stuff Irish People Love (this isn't particularly about Irish sayings but you'll love it, if your Irish that is). Mind you <i>I </i>never read the books hahaa, but I did read extracts and watched Clisare's video on Stuff Irish People love, and I was laughing all the way to the end. You can watch it <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bNBVqRS0Xo&list=UU4zJAMaYN592qQhMR2OfX_Q"><span style="color: #f6b26b;">here</span></a>. <strike>Infact just skip on over to her channel altogether because she's great for the craic!</strike> You can do that after you read my post ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
As the title of this post so clearly boasts, you know your Irish when... you use <i>these</i> phrases on a daily basis. So for those of you with an Irish passport, I think its time you put your identity to the test. Are you really Irish? Well if you use these phrases bellow on a daily basis, you most defiantly are 100% Pure Irish baaaai. (Baaai - Cork slang - meaning 'boy' - pronounced <i>biiii-yuh</i> - used commonly among us rebellious southerners)</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://thoughtsofachristiangirl.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/209487820136429849_jdmunlhe_c.jpg?w=640" /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Self-Confidence in my opinion, is the vital cog that allows the machine of self-happiness to turn. It's the vital element that allows you and me, to enjoy our own presences. Yes, great friends and family, great memories and experiences among other positive encounters increase our levels of happiness and therefore self-confidence. Because each state depends on each other, without self-confidence one isn't happy, and without happiness one is generally not self-confident. But. There <i>is</i> a fine line between confidence and self-confidence. Let me explain.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
Confidence is ones belief in another's abilities, a feeling or conciousness of ones power. While Self-confidence is the sole belief in yourself and your capability's and power. But thing is, the former, can be faked or an illusion, the person may not be <i>self-confident</i> but appear to have <i>confidence</i>, d'ya get me? :P<br />
<br />
You've heard the saying - "Fake it till you make it"<br />
<br />
And you know what, if you convince your self enough (for example by saying it to your self over and over) that you are something, you are confident/beautiful etc., you will start to believe it, and it goes from being something you longed for, to something you <b>are</b>.<br />
<br />
But when one is stuck in a rutt, with no positivity, dwelling on all the negatives of their personality/a situation etc. this may not work. You must allow your self believe, and you <i>will</i> believe if you're positive about this notion.<br />
<br />
My self-confidence is not perfect, whose is? But I can confidently say, after years and years of self discovery (not done yet, 80 + years more of exploration to go, please god haha!), I'm happy in my nappy! But there is alot of room left for more self-confidence, self-happiness and self-improvement mind you!<br />
<br />
But this post is to remind those of you, who may be battling with very low self esteem/depression and other personal downs, that I have most defiantly felt like that before and do from time to time like every human being, you are not alone! As the TAG goes #ShineStrong! <div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />ANSWERS<div>
<br />1. Strong is a state of mind a person achieves after several knocks, coming out the other side with so much more self-knowledge, clear thought and happiness. <br /><br />2. The biggest thing that springs to mind as 'brave' is travelling to Calcutta, India with a charity at the age of 16 without my family. It's defiantly not something brave in comparison to what others have done or battled bravely, but for me it was quite gutsy, being the age I was, the distance I travelling and the emotional and heartbreaking things I saw while there working with the charity. <br /><br />3. Generally I light up a joint.. I joke haha. I usually get into comfy clothing, sit down on the sofa with my feet up and throw on a movie/listen to music/browse the internet with a steamy cup of tea in hand. Just chill out really.<br /><br />4. How to surf. It's always been something I thought was super cool, skilful and I wanted to try. I've done one lesson over the summer and I am now part of the surf society in my college, so I have no excuse this semester to join the society on their surfing ventures. I've a post on this exact topic<a href="http://thetravelbibleblog.blogspot.ie/2014/06/so-i-went-surfing.html"> here</a> :)<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
5. My bff's shine strong in so many ways. But most importantly in their unique personalities, good nature and as great friends.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
6. To be able to work a room, with a more outgoing personality.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
7. Waking up without a care in the world, because you are content in your self, with what you do and in your environment. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
8. I try to look at all the positive in life. When anything negative happens I take all the positives out of the situation and focus on them<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.479999542236328px;">.</span> Everyone is beautiful and <b>equal</b>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
9. <i>Any</i> hairstyle that makes me feel hot and on top of my game ;) </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
10. I love good hair days because they reinforce my self-confidence and make me feel great</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
11. By using less colouring products in your hair and giving it a bit of tlc with deep conditioners and treatments!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
12. I shine strong when I'm feeling self-confident, happy and positive.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<span style="text-align: start;">About three weeks ago I was sunning it up in the beautiful town of Rovinj, Croatia. If you havn't heard already about this countries exquisiteness, well its about time you hit that google search bar with the letters C-R-O-A-T-I-A. Whilst I only managed to squeeze in five days in the north-west of the country, only a smidgen of the amount of beauty Croatia has to offer, I was in love. I stayed in Rovinj for the majority of the trip, a gorgeous old town with narrow alleyways and stone pavements jutting right out into the Adriatic Sea. Can you visualise it? Well here's a few pictures to prove it.</span></div>

It was here, that I saw some Dolphins, for the first time in over 3 years! I was super excited when I spotted<br />
<a name='more'></a>them, because I'm always on the hunt for Cetacea (whales, dolphins & porpoises) whenever I'm near the ocean, always hoping that I'll be the first to spot them peaking up from the waves. But I haven't been so lucky as to finding them. Until that evening in Rovinj as we walked along the cliff edge of the old town. Picture this - sun setting, an old pirate looking ship with big sails bobbing out next to the bright sun and dolphins jumping in front of it! Sounds like something in the movies aye? Well it was reality!<br />
<br />
Apparently dolphins are to increase ones happiness (and therefore serotonin levels), but I'm sure this is to happen if you were to swim with them or have a very close encounter. I didn't, but yet I felt super happy. <br />
<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Rovinj that night, with the pirate ship in the backgorund and sun setting, moments before the dolphins surfaced.</td></tr>

<br />
<br />
I've had two closer encounters with dolphins as a child. One time, in Majorca on a boat trip. Disappointed I hadn't seen one towards the end of the journey, I stood up at the front of the yacht looking at the land ahead of us when 3 dolphins started jumping in front of the boat! I went from disappointment to pure delight when I saw the three creatures swimming bellow me. It was amazing, and its probably this encounter that spurred my determination to find them each time I was close to the sea. The second time I had a close encounter with them was years later, mind you I had seen them many a times from a great distance before then, while sitting on a beach in Kerry (O'Carrols Cove which I mentioned in a previous post <a href="http://thetravelbibleblog.blogspot.ie/2014/06/i-wonder-what-country-these-pretty.html">here</a>) as the sun went down. This day was a scorcher in the middle of an Irish heatwave, so happiness levels were already high due to the levels of vitiman D us pale Irish were receiving. And who decides to make an appearance in the clear blue waters of the beach, four dolphins happily jumping and playing. It wasn't long before people were out on their kayaks playing and swimming with them and I was climbing along the rocks that jutted out towards them to get a closer look. That was an awesome day.<br />
<br />
Probably one of the most fascinating creatures on the planet, seconding my dog ;) Well that was a weird post, but I was inspired after reading about the study on how a person suffering with depression (and other disorders such as autism and alternative neurological disorders) can be alleviated of the illness by swimming with dolphins. Its not proven to be true, but a few studies that were conducted show that it improved some of the people used in the experiments. Acting as a substitute to anti depression tablets! I don't know what to believe about it, but it sure is interesting.<br />
<br />
Well I best be off, but I will leave you with an image of my happy and proud pooch last week on top of a mountain I climbed in Galway :)<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Hello internet friends,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This week I've got something a little different for you, but I think you'll enjoy it, because who doesn't love a good laugh, mind blowing footage or a bit of scandal? Nobody!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If you've been on the internet at any stage this week, it would be odd or highly unlikely that you haven't already come across Tish Simmonds' viral videos or vines, "I'm in me mom's car, vroom vroom" and "I'm in the bath, swim swim". While her original vines are funny, I laughed, I have seen over 10 spoofs and remixes that are even more enjoyable, I cried. So bellow is one of my favourite remixes of "Im in me mom's car, vroom vroom", which I found on the LADbible facebook page. So without further a do bellow is the link, enjoy.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If you have yet to watch the original (bellow) I would suggest you do so before clicking the link above!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To see all her videos, go onto Vine and search Tish :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next is another viral video, of adorable Noah Ritter, a cool little dude dubbed the 'Apparently Kid' for his over use of the word 'apparently' on his live TV interview while attending the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania. And apparently he's never been on live television before..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Last week the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz5TGN7eUcM">original interview</a> went viral, but this week, the world will fall in love again with cutie Ritter in the auto-tuned remix version of his interview, cleverly crafted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNYrK4tc5i1-eL8TXesH2pg">The Gregory Brothers</a>! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/3eevUjhIlfM?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is not the first video by The Gregory Brothers that I've been obsessed with. If you can remember <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMtZfW2z9dw&list=UUNYrK4tc5i1-eL8TXesH2pg">'The Bed Intruder - Antoine Dodson'</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZcRU0Op5P4&list=UUNYrK4tc5i1-eL8TXesH2pg">'Dead Give Away - Charles Ramsey'</a> viral news interviews, the brothers also converted them into catchy songs! Amongst loads of other viral videos!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And last but not least, is a super cool video of a quirky mind blowing Australian busker playing hits such as Iggy Azaleas' Fancy and The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army on PVC pipes using flip flops (thongs for you Australians). You will be blow away, defiantly the coolest and most initiative busker to date!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/T4GaiOt13A0?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So that is all for tonight, they were just too good not to share! I think I will keep up this little feature - This weeks internet finds :) If you'd be interested in guest posting for this 'segment', such sophistication, please give me an email at thetravelbibleblog@gmail.com. Would be awesome to keep this going and have a few fellow bloggers making appearances!!</div>

<br />
Hello dusty keyboard & those of you reading ;),<br />
<br />
I'm Back, sadly, from my interrailing adventure. What an amazing time we had, honestly feels like I've been gone a year. But I haven't, just over two weeks, sixteen days to be precise!<br />
<br />
I was so driven to post here at every chance I could, but when your travelling from county to country every 2 to 3 days, life passes you by! So I'm really sorry I didn't post, but hey I can rant on all about my trip and give you all the tips and advice one would need starting right now :)<br />
<br />
I did manage to write one blog post while away, but hadn't published it, so bellow is my post on Amsterdam - the first pitstop on my journey. I hope you enjoy!<br />

Sitting in Amsterdam Central station, waiting patiently for our train to Munich. We got booted out of our hostel this morning at 10, so instead of trecking around the city with big heavy harversacks on our backs, we decided to go straight to the station. The trams here are so punctual and frequent, so we really didn't expect to be at the train station as early as we were. We've got two hours to kill!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So here I am, sitting in a little coffee shop right on the platform. Bumming wifi and electricity. I guess this is the interrailing life, and we are only two days in haha!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Amsterdam was amazing! On our first night we went on a pub crawl, I'd recommend to do one of those down to the ground (especially if your only there for 2 days like us) because they are awesome for meeting loads of new people and getting a real big taster of Amsterdam night life. We paid 20€ and got a tshirt and endless supplies of alchol whilst also running from pub to pub. We lost the group at one stage with a little Australian girl we befriended, but the bouncers on other clubs were very helpful and we were fast finding the group again in our drunken state!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We made so many friends that night, including some that we are going to meet again in Italy! We visited the red light district that night also with a group of Californians for the laugh! When in Amsterdam right! We visited the Anne Frank Huis yesterday, which was super emotional and chilling, but totally worth the hour que! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can't wait for Munich now! I think the train is here, so I best sign off! Wouldn't be good to miss the first train would it?<br />
<br /></div>

</div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
Woah well hi guys, sure feels like forever since I made a post, when really its only been 8 days. But 8 days!! I mean I was on a roll, was really getting into this blogging thing. But I'm back with another post, for a very short interlude (as I leave Sunday to go Interrailing), this one being slightly odd, and in no relation AT ALL to my ever so fabulous blog title.<br />
<br />
With technology these days we all so easily fall into that social rigmarole of selfies! Everyone (well no, everyone fortunate enough) has a phone with a frontward facing camera, or device of some sort that can successfully take pictures. So when your feeling like a particularly pretty human someday, why wouldn't you want to take a snap to remind yourself, or the world of how gorgeous you looked (and are!). Wooo positive self-happiness guru Sinéad here. So there's no denying, that at some stage YOU fell victim to this plight and took a picture of yourself. And you were proud of that picture sister (or brother)!<br />
<br />
BUT<br />
<br />
For every moment of self admiration, there is a moment of boredom. And it is then that we take photos like this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://cdn.funnie.st/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/ugly-selfies-.1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" class="irc_mi" src="http://cdn.funnie.st/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/ugly-selfies-.1.jpg" height="398" style="margin-top: 0px;" width="309" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Oh you know what I'm talking about! Christened with the name 'Uglies', they are the evil, yet humorous, step sister of 'Selfies'. And without a doubt, you have also taken one of these bad boys!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Fun little scientific fact, that explains why sometimes we are unhappy with the way we look in a selfie -</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #282828; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 19px; line-height: 26.8799991607666px;">"We are used to identifying with our faces as they would appear in a mirror, but when we take a selfie, the camera captures our faces as strangers would see us from head on rather than we would see ourselves in a reflection." - The Times.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #282828; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 19px; line-height: 26.8799991607666px;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am so fascinated by this fact! Not the part to do with the camera but the fact that if you were to walk past yourself on the street you wouldn't even recognise your own body and face! Because when you look in the mirror the reflection is a little bit distorted. Have you ever seen anyone else's face in the mirror and they look a bit different!? I have and it always baffled me! Anyway back to business. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So bellow you will find a collection of images demonstrating both uses of the terms 'Selfie' and 'Uglie'. Pictures of a person looking their best and a picture of them looking their worst. So of course if your human, you'll enjoy these!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Do you ever listen to a song, an feel completely captivated by the lyrics and melody? Or by the artist vocals? So inspired by the music that you get that fuzzy feeling inside. Or perhaps you get that feeling because the music hit a nerve within you? Well that's how I feel right now, and maybe I'm the only one who gets this 'fuzzy feeling' (but I highly doubt it)! For me, it think it happens especially when listening to something live, be it on a stage, live on tv or a live audio recording from a gig. Over the past week I've been listening to a lot of music, which is awesome as usual (I mean who doesn't love music?). This music coma was furthered by the Glastonbury Festival, which the BBC so fabulously live streamed for those of us less fortunate to make it this year. So when I wasn't browsing Spotify or Youtube for tunes, I was sitting on my couch singing along (where possible) to live Glastonbury gigs. This year I jammed along to the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, MGMT, Kellis, Kodaline, The Kooks and much more! My new addiction being Jake Bugg. I had heard of him and knew one or two songs, but really only discovered him for <i>real</i> at the weekend when he braced the 'Other Stage' in Glastonbury.<br />
<br />
As soon as he began to sing I was hooked, his voice is sooo original and beautiful. A voice expected to emerge from a much older man, least expected to be the voice of a 20 year old Nottingham bloke. His songs are bluesy in style with melodic hints of his influences (The Beatles and Johnny Cash to name two). But his music is also quite like indie folk/indie rock which I love aswell. He has this 'I couldn't give a fuck!' appearance (not saying he's shabby looking, that's not at all the case), which infact makes me more fascinated with his music and voice! I get that 'feeling' listening to his music. Its so comforting for some reason? But I suppose its not odd that it is, it would be more odd if screamo music made me comfortable. But then again that's somebody's thing, somebody's comfort. I really like his look, find him quite attractive for some reason haha.<br />
<br />
His tunes I'm loving at the moment include:<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<i>Broken</i><br />
<i>Someone Told Me</i><br />
<i>Two Fingers</i><br />
<i>&</i><br />
<i>Pine Trees</i><br />
<br />
He's so young, so talented and already really successful! I think its awesome that he's the same age as me. Its not that common to see someone so successful as a solo artist at this age. Serious respect!<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
I've always been a big fan of MGMT, but after watching their live set at Glastonbury I love them even more. I'd never really delved deep into their less popular songs, but after watching their performance I was spurred to go deeper. I am obsessed with their sound and Andrew VanWyngarden is pure mint (Irish slang for beautiful) haha! I was shocked when I found out he was 31, he looks like he could still be 19! MGMT are so original too, there are not many Psychedelic Rock groups (or duos in MGMT's case) that have made it as big as they did. They actually played in my small city a few months ago and I was so bumbed when I found out I couldn't go because it was a prize-won-ticketed gig! I bet MGMT were like wtf, because it was probably such an odd mix of a crowd compared to their usual peeps!<br />

Another artist I am really loving at the moment is Sia. But particularly her song Chandelier. Its so beautifully pieced together and her voice is just.. wow. If you haven't yet listened too it I'd recommend you do. Like all of her songs, it has such a great message. This time more about the lifestyle of young people (more about girls, from what I gathered from the lyrics) drinking excessively (or going to hard/partying) into unhappiness. I read a great blog post about this song and Sia on <a href="http://www.essena.com.au/">Essena O'Neill's blog</a> and thought it was such a well written response! <a href="http://www.essena.com.au/blog/dont-love-sia">http://www.essena.com.au/blog/dont-love-sia </a><br />

<br />
There are plenty more tunes that have inspired me this week, but the above being most inspiring. What's great is that BBC have a lot of the big performances from Glastonbury on their site. You can watch the full set for different bands, artists etc. I know I will be doing more of this over the week as I begin my packing for my Interrailing adventure. By then I will have compiled an awesome travelling playlist haha!<br />
<br />
I'm lying here in bed, falling asleep, so it's probably time I sign off,<br />
<br />
Until next time,<br />
Sleep well,<br />

<br /></div>
I've always wanted to be a surfer for as long as I can remember :L As a child me and my friend would pretend we were surfers and that we lived in Australia with our famous surfer parents haha. Then as teenagers we'd fan over famous surfers and skateboarders (Ryan Sheckler to name one). I've been told numerous times that I look real beachy/boheminan/surfer, when I've never even surfed before or live nowhere nere the beach or places of such style influence! I have also been informed by a few different people that I look really like Ivy in 90210. I've never seen the show but looked her up as one would do, and what a compliment that is! Would be great if I also shared the same height as her, just saying! Just shows that when you have a passion for something you display hints of this passion without even trying. Kind of works like the law of attraction!<br />
<br />
But anyway, the other day I finally went surfing! Something I'd longed to do for years but never actually got around to it, well that's half a lie. When I was in Australia a few years ago, I did try on a friend's board.. ON BONDI BEACH! But it didn't go so well. Like a lot of beaches there's the swimming part of the beach and surfing part. And generally the surfing parts can be shallow one minute and deep the next. Which I discovered in a panic and then swam back in. Mind you I was probably only 13 and was only going to be on the beach for a few hours so decided to enjoy myself without getting the living s*** kicked out of me with fear.<br />
<br />
Back to that glorious day, when I rode a few waves in the Atlantic.<br />

<br />
As I've blogged about over and over the last week or so, the weather was scorching. It was actually the hottest day that week with temperatures of over 28 degrees Celsius. I know I know its probably the normal summer temperature for most of you out there. But not in Ireland! Four of us went surfing down in Inchydoney, a beautiful big white sanded beach in west Cork. We got a half an hour lesson and an hour and a half free time surfing. I really didn't have high expectations for my self as my friend had went surfing before and found it very hard to stand up on the board.<br />
<br />
But little did I expect having never surfed before, that I'd be the first to stand up and catch a wave! It was so much fun! Had a nice sunbath on the beach after and a lovely meal in the adjacent hotel. I'm on the look now for a surfboard, I defiantly want to take it up as a hobby!<br />

<br />
Woo I'm so excited!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After months of planning, I've finally taken the second plunge towards my InterRailling adventure, I've purchased my pass yeeewhoo. I had my flights book almost 3 month now, and it was only time I got my feet in the water (being two weeks away and all!!). My route is probably quite different to a lot of other interrailers, mainly because we are drawn to the sun like magnets are to the door of a fridge, so Croatia and Italy are very important stops on our agenda. We are going for a little over two weeks, although we had originally planned on going for a month, but that was unrealistic for two broke students!! We are using the 10 days within 22 days pass, which will give us a lot more freedom than the cheaper option (5 days within 10 days). With the 5 days within 10 days we would have been whizzing through the cities! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u><b>How it works, if your confused (like myself in the beginning), is as so:</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have 10 calender days which I can travel, in each chosen day I can take as many train rides as I like. These 10 days must be within the chosen 22 day period you are travelling. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If this confused you even more, I'm so sorry haha. But give the website a visit, it is explained a lot clearer there.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.interrail.eu/">http://www.interrail.eu/</a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<img alt="Un día..." class="full-size" src="http://data1.whicdn.com/images/116696265/large.png" /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As of now, this is our route in chronological order :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Amsterdam</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Munich</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Pula</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Treiste</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Venice</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Rome</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Milan</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Milan because of our flight home.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If anyone has been to any of these places I'd love to hear you opinions on them! And is anyone going interrailing through Europe mid July like myself? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway I best sign off, have a lot to do before the day ends, what's new! :P</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Until next time,</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
With no goodies in the house, and craving something fresh and sweet, Raspberry Crème Pâtissière Tartlets were a definite bake! If I haven't already expressed my love for baked goods, well I will now. I love pastries, desserts and all that yummy stuff!! So as you can imagine, I was totally excited to bake up a batch of these bad boys. Having never baked a Crème Pâtissière Tart, it was a new and fun experiment. So if your interested in how I made these little delights keep reading! </div>

(I was so bummed with my final photo of the tartlets, all along I was using my Canon T3i to take pictures, and was so excited to get some use out of the camera for baking purposes. But sure didn't my mom take it on her walk so when the tarts were finished the camera was gone! And to add to that, most of the tartlets were eaten by the time she got home haha! So no new photos could be taken, but you can enjoy the impeccable quality of the process photos bellow :P)</div>

A new recipe book appeared on my shelf the other week, not magically, just placed there (by hand incase your still sceptical). So it was only natural I hand a flick through it. The book, named Cupacakes and Mini Cakes, is full of gorgeous looking cakes and desserts. It isn't just Cupcakes and Cakes as the title so clearly shouts, but includes tarts, pastries and much much more!!</div>

In a saucepan boil the milk and remove from heat just as it starts to bubble. Poor the milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly. Return the mixture to the pan, and bring to boil, whilst also whisking continuously to remove lumps. It will start to thicken when it does so turn down the heat to low and cook for further 2 - 3 minutes. If it becomes considerably thick, take it off the heat as you want it to be a custard consistency.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Loving too many things this month but here's just a few items I long for!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Being super nice outside and all, I'm totally inspired by colourful items even though I'm generally drawn to black haha! Anyone else out there the same? I love bohemian fashion and also adore grunge (music and all, Kurt - you're my man). I suppose my love for grunge is probably partially the reason why I'm drawn to darker colours! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So here we go, a quick run through of my summer wishlist!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>1. Ganesha T-Shirt</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I want one of these t-shirts BADLY!<i> </i>How cool are they? I love all Indian/Hindu inspired designs. A Ganesh is a Hindu worshipped elephant headed god (deity) that represents the power of the Supreme Being that removes obstacles and ensures success in human endeavours. Not only does it have really cool symbolism but its such a fascinating image. The image on the left is from Nicola Boraston's blog <a href="http://www.deciphering-dreams.blogspot.ie/">deciphering-dreams.blogspot.ie/</a>. Check out her lookbooks!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>2. Colourful bracelets</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Need a new stock of bracelets for the summer! Love the colours in these ones.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>3. Cat-eye hinted Sunglasses</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I really like these sunglasses, there's that small hint of the cat eyed shape to them which I think is super flattering on most people!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>4. Hamsa Hand Tattoo</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I NEED this in my life, or in fact, on my body!! I've wanted this tattoo for years now! I need to pluck up the balls to get it. Another design with religious reference by the way haha. I adore the meaning behind this symbol. Its an image of the open right hand, recognized and used as a sign of protection in many societies throughout history, the hamsa is believed to provide defence against the evil eye. Again an awesome meaning and super pretty design. The inside of the hamsa hand can vary in design, which makes it even more fascinating.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://37.media.tumblr.com/0f0a7aa001ff5427d1a1a423128cdc8b/tumblr_n00mfcefqm1rmxmyzo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://37.media.tumblr.com/0f0a7aa001ff5427d1a1a423128cdc8b/tumblr_n00mfcefqm1rmxmyzo1_500.jpg" height="400" style="-webkit-user-select: none;" width="328" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This Hamsa Hand is so detailed but gorgeous, for a tattoo though I reckon it would be too fusy</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>5. Headscarf</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm even wearing one now, but I would love some more! So handy for holding the hair back on a lazy day and looking that bit sylish at the same time. Or even for the beach they are fab.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>6. Bohemian over the shoulder bag</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh man these bags are to die for, well in my opinion anyway! Perfect for the beach, but if I had one I know I'd be wearing it for day to day purposes. I love all the little details in them and the little jewels in the one above. This bag is actually designer believe it or not and costs between 600€-2000€... whaaat!! Its called the '3 Tier Original Bag' and is by the designer Simone Camille. But you'd be able to find beautiful cheap dupes in markets or even similar styled bags for example in Penny's (Primark) etc. Well fingers crossed anyway because I know for sure I'm not going to be spending 600€ odd for a bag, no way no how!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>7. High waisted bikini bottoms</i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
How cute are these bikini bottoms! They look so pretty and fun, as much as I'd love a pair, I really don't know if I could pull it off!?!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that was just a few items on my wishlist, I hope you enjoyed this post. If you liked any of these items I'd love to hear your options on them :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Until next time,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you live in Ireland (or the UK) like myself, your probably as delighted as I am with the weather! It's not that usual for us to have a 'real summer', and by 'real summer' I mean - average day to day temperatures ranging from 20 degrees Celsius upwards! Actually what I mean by a 'real summer' probably stems from what I absorbed from the media and TV of what I perceived American weather to be like! Or even my experiences of weather abroad in countries such as Spain and Greece during the summer! But that's just unrealistic! I'm from the land of the pale and pasty!</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But anywho I just wanted to share a few photos with ye of my awesome lunch, or dessert even! Who doesn't love strawberries? Especially during this time of the year when they are at their best!!! </div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Little tip, if your travelling in Ireland this Summer and happen to be driving through Wexford, make sure you stop at the little strawberry stalls on the sides of the road and pick up a pundit or two. You won't regret it! Wexford strawberries are world renowned! Well haha maybe Ireland renowned.. </div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If your anyway intelligent you'll whip up some fresh cream and dollop a generous helping of it onto your flavoursome strawberries. Another little tip about strawberries! After you've cut and washed them place them in a bowl and sprinkle some caster sugar (or regular sugar) over them and allow the strawberries to prep in the fridge for an hour our two. You'll be left with a lovely strawberry syrup at the bottom of the bowl!! Yummy!! but also not as healthy..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I've finally compiled questions from a mixture of popular travel based tags to make the tag we've all been waiting for... </div>

<b>1. Your most treasured passport stamp?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I first read that question I had my answer made. I'm going to have to go for the stamp I got when I travelled to Calcutta, India. Mainly because it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and because its a pretty rare stamp for a 19 year old to have :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div>
<b>2. Top 3 travel items?</b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Ipod 5th Gen (Its got an awesome quality camera, music and all the apps one would need on an adventure)</div>
<div>
Sunglasses</div>
<div>
Money (A must!)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>3. Can you recite your passport # from memory if asked?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hell naw.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>4. Preferred method of travel: planes, trains or automobiles?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's a tough one, I love the freedom of cars (especially when I'm the driver) but the whole experience of plane travel is quite exciting eg. the airport, all its stages and being able to see the world from above is awesome. Mind you I'm going interrailing this Summer so trains may become my best friend.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div>
<b>5. What are your top places to visit next?</b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Croatia</div>
<div>
Bali (actually most of Indonesia)</div>
<div>
USA</div>
<div>
Italy</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>6. Hostel or hotel?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hotel, but that's just because I have yet to experience the craic of the hostel experience (all of which will be discovered this summer)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>7. Are you a repeat visitor or do you explore new places?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mostly I explore new places, but I always return to places I like in Ireland during the Summer because they are so close. But if I really really like somewhere I would defiantly return but more than likely not straight away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>8. Do you read up on your destination (culture,history,safety) or do you wing it?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yup always, It gets me pumped for my trip!:)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>9. Favorite travel website?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't really have a favourite, I love searching google and reading blog posts people have made of their own experiences. I think its way more personal than a big travel website and often times more helpful. But then again, when I am travelling somewhere I will read things on lonely planet and other such 'big' websites. I adore stumbleupon.com for finding cool travel websites and posts!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div>
<b>10. Window, Isle or Middle seat? </b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
Hands down window haha. I mean who doesn't love gawking out the little window?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>11. Where would you recommend a friend to visit? Name city & why.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd recommend Port Douglas in Queensland Australia. It's not a city, but it's a gorgeous town and the surrounding area (Daintree) is beautiful. The reason why.. well I loved it. One of my favourite movies (Fools Gold) was filmed partially there adding to the reason why I adore the spot. The rainforests near by and the great barrier reef.. wow just stunning!! Friends.. you need to go here!! Yea there's snakes, lizards, spiders, crocodiles all the scary things.. but its such an interesting place to explore!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>12. You’re leaving tomorrow, where are you going?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Croatia, it's top of my travel list at the moment, so I know that's where I'd be heading! I'm going their for a few days this summer, my friend and I made it a priority in or interrailing plan!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>13. Where was your first plane ride to? </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think Majorca<b>, </b>I was only a few months old mind you so I have no recollection of that adventure haha!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>14. Where have you travelled to that you would love to visit again?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd love to visit all of the places I've been too again haha. Mostly Australia, Greece, Dubai and Africa!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b> 15. Do you have an interesting "I'm lost" story?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well I don't have an "I'm lost" story per say, but I do have a "I nearly missed my flight home" story!! It was the night before I was to go home, and my friend and I wanted to make the most of our last night in Hersonissos, Crete. <i>Sooo</i> we decided to party hard and long. Our bus to the airport next morning left our complex at 10 AM. But because we were partying like mad yokes we didn't end up coming home until 8 AM that morning. Dying of hangovers and sleep deprived we said we'd go to sleep for an hour and wake up at 9:30. Alarm set supposable, we hit the sack. But we were woke up by a phone call, my Dad rang my friend after failing to get through to me asking if we had left for the airport. But of course we hadn't because our alarm hadn't went off!! It was now 9:45 AM so we jumped up gathered all our stuff and ran down to the hotel entrance. The place was deserted. We had missed our bus. Both of us all panicked had to get an hour long taxi to the airport costing us 50 euro altogether. Luckily though we had made it to the airport in good time and made it back to Cork. Its hilarious looking back at it now haha!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>16. Where would you travel to just to eat the food? </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
America!!! When I go there I'm going with an empty suitcase and bringing back a load of junk! Twinkies and all that stuff you see on TV haha.The food I want to go there for is junk, if I was to go somewhere for fine cuisine I would probably go to Italy. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>17. Is there a place you would never go again? </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There's nowhere I would never go again, but I would be reluctant to go to certain places fast. There were some places I went in Australia I didn't like, for example Port Macquarie but that is due to the fact I was staying in a motel I strongly disliked, there was torrential rain and the parts I saw in the day I was there I didn't like. So the places I didn't like I can't say I would never go to again because I didn't get to see them properly :) <b> </b></div>
